Posting Policy

Last updated on April 24th, 2025

My Class Adverts reserves the right to update this Posting Policy at any time, including changes related to advertisements, user comments, reviews, and other content submissions, without prior notification to users (whether private or commercial).

Items that are deemed illegal by the Cayman Islands Government or its agencies are strictly prohibited on My Class Adverts. Some industries are restricted due to local laws and regulations, including but not limited to the sale of animals. We work with local organizations to ensure a responsible marketplace, and we restrict animal listings unless posted by licensed breeders.

We also limit the volume of ads that a single account can post within a set timeframe. If you post a high number of ads in a short period, the “Post Ad” function will be temporarily disabled.

Currently, the maximum number of ads a Private Seller can post per day is 5. If you need to post more ads, please reach out to us at info@myclassadverts.com.

If you hit the limit, simply log out and come back later in the day. This policy may vary depending on factors like category, account holder status, user feedback, and more. Our goal is to ensure a diverse and user-friendly marketplace for everyone.

We recommend that you regularly review the Terms & Conditions, as these can change at any time without obligation to notify users.

Please Note

My Class Adverts provides an online platform for both private and commercial sellers. The posting policies for private sellers may differ from those for commercial sellers. Some commercial sellers may have different posting policy parameters, and My Class Adverts reserves the right to amend these policies as needed.

On occasion

My Class Adverts may restrict posting permissions by category, service, user account, or other factors, including geographical and chronological considerations.

Prohibited Content: Currency Imagery

The use of Cayman Islands currency or its likeness is strictly regulated under the Monetary Authority Act (2020 Revision). The Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA) has the sole authority to issue legal tender, and reproducing or selling items bearing the likeness of currency is an offense under the Penal Code (2024 Revision). Therefore, any items imitating Cayman Islands banknotes or coins are prohibited unless express written consent from CIMA is obtained.

This includes

Items bearing the likeness of Cayman Islands banknotes or coins

Replicas, collectibles, novelty items, or promotional materials using local currency imagery

Any items that may be considered reproductions of legal tender

Policy Enforcement

Any listings that violate this policy will be removed immediately. The user responsible may be contacted, and further restrictions may be placed on posting similar content. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or termination.

If you have any questions about this policy or whether an item can be listed, please contact our support team at info@myclassadverts.com.
